Terms and conditions

About the competition

To enter, schools are invited to like and follow the Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation Facebook page PLUS submit to Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation their student entry/entries which are ideas to ‘Learn’, ‘Save” or ‘Earn’ in twenty-five words or less.


Number of entries students can submit

There are no limits on the number of entries that schools can submit on behalf of their students.


How to enter

The competition is open to all primary and secondary schools in Australia.

Submissions are made using on the competition entry form located at www.talkmoney.org.au/globalmoneyweek2023.

Entries open at 9.00am AEST Monday 20 March 2023 and must be received by 5.00pm AEST on Friday 31 March 2023. Late entries will not be accepted.


Entry fee

There is no entry fee.


Winners and prizes

The total prize pool is $1,000 which includes five $200 Dymocks gift vouchers awarded to the winning schools. Note that each school is only eligible to win once, regardless of the number of entries submitted.

Prizes will be provided as a pre-paid card and emailed to the school email address provided in the online entry form.


Selection of winners

This competition is a game of skill. Ecstra Foundation will select five schools that met the competition criteria including:

  • Completion of the entry form
  • Like/Follow the Talk Money Facebook page
  • Submit all entries via the competition link at www.talkmoney.org.au

Ecstra Foundation will review and select the winning entries. The winners of the Dymocks vouchers will be announced on 4 April 2023.

Judging criteria

When selecting the winners of the competition, Ecstra Foundation will consider:

  • Originality – How original is the idea?
  • Engaging – Is the idea engaging and appealing to school students?
  • Age appropriate – is the idea appropriate for school aged students?

All decisions of the judging panel are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.


Publication of winning entries

Entries may be shared at any time during the campaign period or after the campaign period via the Talk Money Facebook page or other promotional mediums.

Note that entries will not be used for commercial purposes or be permitted to be used by any other external third party.

“Learn.Save.Earn.” is the official slogan of Global Money Week, and to celebrate, Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation invites schools across Australia to share their best ideas for managing money, saving for the future and/or earning money.

We are offering ALL Australian schools a chance to win one of five $200 Dymocks gift cards. And it’s so easy to enter!

Simply:

  1. Follow Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation on Facebook
  2. Submit your best ideas to Learn, Save or Earn from your students in 25 words or less using the form below.
